Do you agree that Psychiatric Staff Nurses working in a mental hospital are more likely be mentally infected by their mentally sick patients?
I ask most of my friends and other nurses in other special fields regarding this matter. They said that they never like to work in the mental hospital because they do not want to become like one of the patients.
I realize now that this may be the primary stigma of Psychiatric Staff Nurses. What do you think?

I think whoever believes that is an idiot. Mental diseases can't be caught like that. Mental diseases aren't influenced by anything like similar behavior. They
there from birth, it isn't like a virus. You can't go crazy from working with crazy people, that isn't how it works. You can get depressed and overwhelmed if you aren't prepared for exactly what you'll be working with, but that's about the extent of it.
