Love is when someone cares enough about you to put your needs ahead of theirs, when they take the time to do something they feel is silly but they know it will make you happy. When you trust someone implicitly with your life and vice versa. That's love :)

When a person feel good within himself or herself that means he or she is not hurted himself or herself by any of his act or words done or said to anyone then how he or she hurt anyone....
This means the person loves himself and the other person and that is LOVE.
Love starts from loving oneself.

I don't believe that there is truly any "one" definition of love. Every person feels love differently, and loves every person differently. If you ask 100 people to define love, you will get 100 different answers. This is what makes love so great. It encompasses so many different thoughts and feelings. Often times, it is a child who can define love the best... for they still feel innocent and unconditional love. I don't know that I can even begin to define love. It is so many things to me... it is the feeling I get when my husband walks in the door after a long day, knowing I just want to run into the safety of his arms and stay there forever. It is the feeling I get when my mom wraps her arms around me and I know that her love will never fade away. It is the kiss that my neice lays gently on my cheek; the giggle of my teenage stepdaughter; the all-knowing looks from my best friend; the heated arguments with my sister. It is the stern hand of my father; the cheek-pinches of my grandmother; and the unspoken words from my uncle. It is what makes me sigh with contentment, laugh with joy, scream with frustration, and cry with pain. Love is not just one thing, can not be defined by words; it is felt, seen, and shown. It is complicated and yet simple, harsh and yet gentle; cold and yet warm. It is confusion and clarity; it is just love.

I think it's not possible to put what love is, in words. But love isn't perfect...inspite of our imperfections, we still care for each other, that's what love is. Love makes us want to live for each other and share our joys and sorrows. Love understands,my friend and never demoralizes you. Love is wonderful, it motivates me to live life inspite of the hurdles i come across. And last but not the least, Love is giving...it doesn't demand or take.

Love is a basic dimension of human experience that is variously conveyed as a sense of tender affection, an intense attraction, the foundation of intimacy and good interpersonal chemistry, willing self-sacrifice on behalf of another, and as an ineffable sense of affinity or connection to nature, other living beings, or even that which is unseen. It manifests itself in feelings, emotion, behavior, thoughts, perception and attitude. It influences, underlies and defines major patterns in interpersonal relationships and self-identification.

Boy that's a tough one, how about what ever makes your heart smile, being able to be angry at each other and still be able to go to bed, kiss good night, and say I love you and wake up in the morning not mad anymore. Or at least it works for us.

That is how it should be. Never go to bed mad or leave one another mad.

I'd like to say I don't know, but I feel it. I guess that's all I can say. I feel that he is all that I need. yes we need money, I want kids, save for the future etc etc but life won't be the same without him beside me.
I never feel like this with anyone else, even my first relationships, I tend to be sarcastic and insensitive I wanted them out of my life. But being married to my husband for 6 yrs, I realized I feel different about him and the feelings grow stronger each day.
I remember your posting, I understand why you ask this. Hope things get better for you and family.

Love is a kind of adoration, affection, and admiration of another person. A connection.
The deeper this love, this connection is, the more selfless it can become.
