Would you forgive for cheating?

I was curious about if anyone would forgive their spouse or bf/gf for cheating? What would you do?
I have a friend who was told by a lady that her hubby had cheated on her with her. The lady called this husband and had the wife secretly on 3 way. The lady said I am worried your wife will find out, and he said no she wont, she has no way of knowing. Well the wife confronted him and he said he didnt know what he was saying because he sick and the lady had woke him up. What should she do? What would you do?
He still denies it to my friend and she does love him and they have kids together

I was dumb just once and it was the dumbest thing I'd ever done. Luckily my partner took me back and gave me a second chance. It'll be 3 years this March and the incident happened in October.
I'm glad she gave me a second chance. I think I've made it up for it by changing my ways.

I have done it before, but I'm not big on giving second chances. I gave them a second chance because I really cared for them. However, maybe I was just too blind to love at the time, maybe I just was too afraid to let go. For whatever reason, I stayed with her and we're still together.
And it hasn't happened again.
