Abuse

Anyone out there feel like you are abused? Emotionally, physcially? Need someone to talk to? Do you feel like you cannot escape? I remember growing up feeling powerless and I swore I would not live like that always. I also promised myself I would not do it to my children, so far I have succeeded in both.

That is exceptional. I grew up powerless and physically and emotionally abused and swore I would never do that to my own children. However, as life would have it there seems to be times when I tend to start getting verbally abusive and I know I need to stop myself. It's hard to rid yourself of the pattern. Also, I feel I am abusing myself over the current person that I care for. I need to move on with my life but can't seem to do so.
