I have worked online since I was 17. I am only 18 now but I still know a lot more than many of the marketers out there. I don't know that much about business in general (that's what school is for) but I know enough about internet marketing to earn a comfortable living :) I want to see if there are any other marketers in here. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them. If you have tips and stuff like that, it would help others understand more about internet marketing. It is a very interesting area of business and a great way to make money. The main topic I am interested in is traffic generation to websites. I like the ideas that have to do with SEO and link building. It is interesting to watch a website or blog go from no traffic to 1000 after a month or so. I have trouble with finding a niche that I like but I still dable in niche website building. I am more into experimenting with traffic generation and selling my ideas in books I write online. I also give some books away. In addition, I like to give people advice about certain things that I understand in forums. You never know when they will remember you down the line and buy your book because of your reputation. So, if you are interested in internet marketing or are invovled, please leave a comment!

is there anything particular you want to discuss. You talk about viral marketing... Are you talking about making a free E-book and giving it away? That is a great viral marketing method. I believe the best method is having great content. That is the stuff that will last and bring word of mouth visits to your website. If you want to learn more about writing a viral E-book, please let me know

Well, basically what you do is think of a topic that you want to focus on. I mostly focus on marketing and business because I find it very interesting. You can think of some other topic that interests you. I have to warn you thougn, if you are dealing with a niche or a topic that targets teens or kids, the viral ebook strategy does not work.... If you give away a joke book or something like that, I guess you could manage something in that capacity. I suggest you find a niche that has a lot of info people can read. This way, you will have plenty to research and write about. Then find a subtopic in there niche. For example, if you like dogs, you could do dog grooming tips or go deeper into a specific breed of sog grooming. The narrower you get the smaller the audience but that audience is much more targeted and interested. Anyway, now you have to find maybe 5-10 topics in your niche you can talk about. Lets say with our dog grooming example, you chose the sub niche, chiwawa dog grooming, you can write about, special shampoo, brushes, strokes, cleaning, nail care, teeth, and so forth... For each topic create a chapter for them and write a few paragraphs for each. Try to use speciac examples and go deep into each subtopic of your sub niche. This way you will have tons of info in there. Now that you have your book done and written. You can go over everything and rewrite. you can edit and so forth. Make sure to spell check because this book is going to be duplicated. Actually, you want it to be... if you make gramatical and spelling errors, it might be seen as unprofessional. You have to structure the book a certain way. Create a header and a footer. In the footer, you can place a link to your website so you increase traffic. Your website better be about the book and should also offer more info. This gives a reason to go in. You should also think about affiliate programs...that is getting more complicated...stick to the simple first... It's time to turn that word document into PDF format. That can be done at http://www.pdfbuilder.com It is free. Once its in pdf format, you can upload the book on to a website and give away the link page so people can download it. Find forums and use this place to give it away. Myspace people love free thingss :) Its up to you to figure the promotion part out. You can see what I do with my free book here: http://internetbusiness-tips.com let me know if you have any other questions. Also, if you like to write, please let me know because I am interested in starting blogs with other people... Those can be very profitable...if done correctly

I too am interested in online marketing but have not really found my niche. I write content articles for SEO so am very familiar with that area. I'm always interested in learning more as I'm not yet earning enough money online to support my family and that is my goal.

I think thats grea that you want to earn enough to support your family. Im lucky I started so young because I still live at home. All the money I make, goes to me. I pay some bills and I pay my college, but thats about it. The rest is in the bank. If I can make enough before I get out of college...in 5 years or so... I want to put a down payment on a house... But seriously, if you are interested in article writing and SEO, I am actually thinking of starting a blog where I can get a few writers to help me write posts and build links. If you are interested, please let me know.

I ave been interested in internet marketing for years but have not been able to venture very far in this regard up until now! I recently lost my job which was devastating, but a friend if mine has recently hired me a "link builder" for his company. He has taught me many things as of late but now my thirst for more is kicking into high gear. I am slowly getting the hang of it, but wuite often feel stupid with some of the questions tha arise when i am working. I would love to be able to learn enough to earn a comfortable living and not feel foolish when I have a question. Any help on how to learn the ropes for me would be greatly appreciated. I am impressed by your motivation at such a young age!
