a big no..its not true. Bible is pretty clear about that !! if u are referring to davinci code. its a great blunder ! the davinci code is already broken.it was just a hype ! and more than that Jesus didnt marry anyone ! He came here to die for our sins not to enjoy life in this world !

i say yes.. why you ask because the bible does actually say that he was a rabbi... ancient jewish law does state a rabbi must be married ( not the exact words but you get the point) mark 9:5 "Peter says to Jesus "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here."

In response to the rabbi message, and being married, you brought up a very interesting point. If Jesus was indeed called Rabbi, and had to be married, then he would have been married!
which would explain the lost years!!!!!!!
OMG, now what?

...he never claimed to be married either... The word "testament" means testimony.. Have you read the gospels? They differ is small details like all eye witness accounts.. and included are small everyday details, which contribute to showing the sincerity of the writers. The 'other' gospels which make the claims Dan Brown wrote of, were written in the 300's to 400's A.D., not by "witnesses". If you really want to know Truth and what ultimate reality is, if you believe in a supreme power, pray. And keep praying for Truth.

Yes, dan brown in the movie about the da vinci code. However, the whole story of the davinci code ws about the lost heirs of Jesus Christ. Supposedly intrusted to the knights Templar to keep the secret as protectors of the heirs.
It is a story, noetheless, but the point of the matter still remains, did Jesus have any children? He never claimed to be celibate.

We are Jesus Children.
it is very clear in the bible that Jesus lived for 33 year and during his ministry, in one of his journey while teaching in a certain place when his mother arrived and the apostle told him that Mary is there, jesus answered these people are my mother and brothers. meaning those who believe and have faith in Jesus are his brother, mother and CHILDREN.
and since God and Jesus and the holy spirit are one and the same person and we call God as our father then we are God, Jesus and holy spirit children.
WE ARE HIS CHILDREN.
you might be referring about the movie da vinci code, well I did not watch it but like you I have some curiosity also but its a blessing that I was able to watch a movie about christ and mary magdalene.
I was able to appreciate her more ther because she, mary magdalene is a true apostle, a follower of christ too.
I think we should bwe mature enough to deal with magdalene situation, being a woman at that time who follow christ, the author might put a malice on her following christ but I found her to be very obedient and have great faith in Jesus, a true servant of the master. I hope I've shared a good post for understanding thanks

No as I said the synoptic gospels! There is no evidence in any of the authentic gospels. Da-Vincis figures are feminine not because he had some special knowledge but because he was gay

interesting that you would say that there is no evidence of the gospels, yet there was the gnostic gospels that quoted scripture word for word, and included texts that were left out. This has nothing to do with the original title, however, I am a bit curious about why you use Synoptic Gospels.

Ah yes! butthere is truth in fiction! and also, there was a guy going to sue Brown over the release of the Davici code, because Mr. Brown used scientific evidence from another guy, who did not get paid.
yep! you heard it! Scientific evidence!
now, of course the story would have to be a work of fiction, because you cannot necessarily prove it, right?
but the whole story really does make you wonder...

He still was not eye witness. It would be like me writing a story about the Kennedy assassination, it might make for good story, but none of it would be valid in determining what happened.

Jesus did not have kids because He was busy teaching people, jews and non-jews, how to inherit the Kingdom of His father. By day he will go miles and miles to teach. He will sleep a little bit and pray to God in His spare time.
He has a brother though...named James. James is the son of mary and joseph, younger than Jesus.

One thing I missed, and you can look at the first post on this, is that Jesus was a RABBI people!
RABBIS have to be MARRIED.
if Jesus was a RABBI, then what the heck happened to his wife? Also remember that even though he loved Mary, and she was the most beloved to him, at this time, women were treated as OBJECTS not people! therefore, Leonardo Davinci's portrait of the women in the painting of the last supper is REVOLUTIONARY!!!!!!!!!!

www.grailchurch.org/marriedjesus.htm
here ya go!
as a former responder said, Rabbi Jesus would have had to be married. the link above only supports this statement, if you are really interested. better yet, here is a quote;
"Jewish customs of Jesus' day required married Rabbis.Unmarried men were considered a curse to Jewish society."
The bibles says that they were careful (his parents) to perfectly obey the laws of their people."
Now, Jewish tradition has boys married by the age of 16!
there are a total of 18 years unaccounted for, in the bible about Jesus!
Therefore "burden of Proof is with those who do not believe Jesus was married."
and, I would have to agree!
You see, the davinci code only made us aware of this mystery.
So the fact remains, who was Jesus married to?
and why would this be kept a secret?

ok calling me hypocrytical and ignorant is ironic, cuz I can say the same thing to you. Anyways, Don't listen to the Da Vinci Code. It is a FICTIONAL NOVEL. NOT A NONFICTION book! So don't get weird Ideas. Also, Jesus did not have any sons, because then they would also be the Sons of God, as th Trinity is The Father, The SON (SINGULAR), and the Holy spirit.

Leonardo Davinci painted 2 females in the last supper.
now, I've studied his art. his firgures, well, women were always soft features, wheras, men he made sharper features. the person who sits to the right of him with honor, is a woman.
furthermore, to his left, atthe head of the table is judas.
just inbetween judas and jesus are several more men, AND A WOMAN.
so, there are actually, two women total pictured in the last supper.

If Jesus had been married, the Bible would have told us so - or there would be some unambiguous statement to that fact. Scripture would not be completely silent on such an important issue. The Bible mentions Jesus mother, adoptive father, brothers, and sisters. Why would it neglect to even mention the fact that Jesus had a wife? Those who believe / teach that Jesus was married are doing so in an attempt to "humanize" Him, to make Him more ordinary - like everyone else. People simply do not want to believe that Jesus was God in the flesh (John 1:1,14; 10:30). So, they invent and believe myths about Jesus being married, having children, and being an ordinary human being.

Here is something to think about. The Apostles believed that Jesus was to be king in the sense that Harod was king. They hoped he would free them from the Roman rulers. This is something that they kept waiting for until he was crucified. If he had had children don’t you think they would have used those children to lead a rebellion against Rome?
