who is more religious?

i think it depends because there are poor people who keep on praying to god asking for graces and anything. i think rich people do that also they keep on praying asking and thanking for all the graces god has given them. but i think there's one thing in common to them, i can say that there are poor people who forgets god and blaming god for what status in life they'd become, and i think some rich people tends to forget god also.

What made u think that religion is based on Poor or Rich (as in ur term)? Let this be ur 'mantra'- "Make me not rich for I may forget you, but make me not poor that I might steal"

i think that u can't compare richness by the prayers. money has noting to do with the faith in the god. i think that however that rich men are more inclined towards god as they keep on praying that god keep me giving this(money) and retain it. poor man keeps on praying to god to give him money. this is the basic difference. but as far as faith in god is concerned i don't think that u can't compare faith in god. have a nice day.

I've gone through all the responces u have got, by one or the other way everybody indicated that money has nothing to with religion. BUT I DON'T THINK SO,...i don't say rich people r not religious, but ther r not crazy about that! If by religious u mean that going to Temple/church/Masd. whatever, rich peoplr do it while keeping in mind their day to day businee and economy. For ex...workers of factory i've been associated previously, earned about 1500 indian rs. only, means total family income near about at the most 4000/- Again avg. 3 children per family, they don't have money for their school,and other basic needs. Till they spend 2500 Rs. once in three month for tour to temple of their God! Will rich man leave important meeting & go for such things? Some may go but % will surely less for poor people. Its my opinion, many will not agree with me...i think u will not too.
