RADAR means Radio detection and ranging
Radar is a system that uses radio waves to determine &map the location direction/speed of both moving & fixed objects such as aircrafts ,ships,motorvehicles,weatherinformations& terrian .A transmitter emits radio waves ,which are reflected by the target &detected by a reciever ,typically in the same location as the transmitter.
i want to aquire more information about I will accept any information related about it

radars are of two types- x band and s band. this bands are the wavelengths of the waves used, 3cm and 10 cm wavelengths. both have their own uses.they are very useful in bad visibility, heavy traffic, for position fixing, making harbors, for collision avoidance. there are other uses as well of the radars. anything more than is too technical......
