americans are now trying to charge their war anemies with murder or attempted murder! i though in war people killed other people for their country, but now americans are calling it murder or intent to murder i wonder how many american soldiers will be charged under the same law, probably none as americans do not kill their enemies, they 'liberate' people (by killing people!) why do you thing americans come up with such stupid things? why do you think americans can jail people indefinately with not charges being laid? i thought america was fighting against such things oh well bush does it again!

War crimes are violating the laws of war, killing civilians, improper treatment of prisoners, etc, etc, are different than the actually killing in war. While Americans have been guilty of them, the military and American government punishes them as well. Lyndie England from the ABu Ghraib photos is serving time in jail...

Uh yeah...I just looked up that law. You know the one "being there at the time" I'm sorry to tell you but I couldn't find it anywhere. I will keep looking and I will let you know as soon as I find it. Good day sir.

you do not understand english i said americans are holding people that have comitted no crime for years without a single charge against the person the only reason david hicks has been in jail for years (most of it in solitary) is because he was in afganistan so americans are jailing non-americans for 'being there at the time' that is a crime against humanity yet the americans see it as ridding the world of people they dont like (sounds verymuch like hitler and stalin to me) so the next 'devil' on earth is bush as he is doing just what he hates others have done, but he is american and is alowed to do it and get way with it what does george know about human rights? he even allows american to commit terrorism in his own country (they call it 'some mentaly unstable person') when will americans wake up and see the truth?

Examples, please? What soldier of an enemy country was charged with murder, exactly? I do know an American marine was found guilty this week, by an American court of murder against an Iraqi civilian.

well at least i dont put people in solitary confinement for over 5 years without telling them what they did wrong! that would be kidnapping, false inprissonment, crimes again humanity, cruel and unusual punshiment, etc yet all you can do is childish name calling!

If people could get along and respect eachothers' differences, there would be no war. American soldiers that have killed innocents or have done indecent acts have been charged and punished. What I don't understand is how people can blow up a whole area.. killing many of their own people. Think about that for a minute. I didn't vote for Bush, by the way. Politics...it is a double edged sword. Please remember that many American soldiers have been captured, beheaded, beaten and tortured in this war...many have lost their lives...and why kill contractors that are there to rebuild and have nothing to do with it...don't you think that is stupid...Please look at it both ways.

i am not having a go at the war i am just telling the truth about how the usa can keep a person in prison for over 3 years without even charging them with anything only now they are saying (not charging) intent/attempted murder, even though no such thing happened or can be prooved
