What age were you? What type of job did you do? What was your approximate salary? Did you enjoy it? How did you geel when you go your first pay? I remember when I was 15, I got a job as helping out in a cafe, only about 60 dollars a week. It was okay, but I loved meeting and chatting to new people, and I felt great for my first pay, I felt like I was responsible for my own self now. What about you?

Right after high school (at 16) I was a busboy at a local restaurant.
I was too slow and got fired after two weeks, but they had an opening as dishwasher/food prep guy, so I started doing that the week after being fired. I got promoted to cook about 8 months after that.

Me too, after I graduated high school, I tried to find a part time job at a No. 1 Leading food chain, which I got hired after two consecutive interview. It was kinda fun for earning small amount of money, and yes it was twice the fun out of it. Meeting new friends and a lot if nice and irate customers.

Before I started at university,I took my first job as a waitress in a nice restaurant. At the night before my first day.I was too excited to go to sleep and as a result,I got up late in the morning.I threw on my clothes and rushed over to the restaurant.
In a great hurry,I didn't hear clearly the head waiter's instruction that we should go into the kitchen through one door and out from the other. So when I took two plates of eggs and bacon and an orange juice out to the restaurant,I went straight towards the wrong door and collided with another waiter coming in!
Worst of all was that I wore a pair of smart shoes but with high heels! A few hours later I was in agony yet had no time to change them. By the time we finished serving dinner at about 10:30 I was completely exhausted. Nevertheless, I learnt something through my experience.

Ahh, what an experience, I share your pain with the high heels, they hurt! I remember that everyone at the cafe had a waitress badge and were female, and at the time I was tom-boyish so I had short hair and had this waiter's badge but I didn't realise it until a man asked me if my boobs were real, it was so funny I still look back at it and laugh with my friends :D

I worked first on a fasfood chain here in my country, that was when I was 18 y/o then. I enjoyed working on it and I also enjoyed my earnings, because I'm not being forced by my parents to give or share something for our house bills. I was then a service crew and a kitchen crew at the same time, and it's we try to enjoy whenver payday come!;) We sometimes go out and try to celebrate to one of our co-workers' place, we are always welcome at his place.
Yes, I also learned to communicate and mingle with different type sof people!;)

My first job was working as a mailroom/fileroom clerk. I was 17 and I worked for an auto insurance company. I don't remember what I made but it was probably min wage. I liked it because it allowed me to buy things I wanted and no one could say anything about it because it was my money.

Mine was I worked as a sales representative who re-sells ibm computers, didn't really enjoy working there because its an hour bus ride from my home, no professional growth and way too much politics. but its worth the work experience to get a better job.
