good question. we have second highest population in the worl and within one or a couple of decades we will overtake china. the main reason of rising population is the dirty politics of our country. actually congress and such socalled secular parties are responsible for that. muslim religeous leaders say that in there religion it is not allowed to stop the birth of a child. since muslims are in such a big number that they play a big role in forming any government. infact they are vote banks for such parties. so no government dares to make any strict law to stop the birth rate. now when hindus are asked to control the births , they also think that there is no law for muslims so why shoul we follow that. congress has cheated muslims on such issues for the half century. and these parties are still doing that. china has controled its population by strictly forming and applying strict rules and laws. regardless of what religion do you belong to, you will have to follow the law. thats the good way and thats very necessory today for the welfare of entire humanity and the entire world. we will have to think this on a broad level and with open minds.

un employement is my consideration for population growth in india

mainl;y because of illiterates,but now adays it is decresing dont worry.

i think the main reason for the population explosion is the lack of education among the masses of indian lower middle class , u always give prefence of male child ,and to have them they keep on having childrens ,and also some parents from lower income level family think that having more children means having more hands that would feed them in there old age , and also these portion of people have no idea about the new methods of contraception ,which is less painfull and easy to do it

I THINK MAIN REASON FOR HUGE POPULATION IN INDIA IS LACK OF KNOWLEDE ILLITERCY AND UNAWARENESS AMONG MASSES .SO TO REDUCE THIS GROWTH GOVT SHOULD TAKE MEASURES WHICH CAN MAKE PEOPLE AWARE OF THIS .I THINK GOVT SHOULD DO IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
