Are u one of those people who prefer clear correctly spelt messages or are u the kind who believes in all that shortened and misspelt jargon? Personally i prefer having my T9 mode on, it's so much faster and simpler and i prefer clear, correctly spelt messages, and i find those messages really annoying, where it's a mixture of letters and words and a sorry attempt at being 'cool'. and for people who argue that it's faster, it's really not. here's an example, the word 'great' if i use my T9 in my mobile(which i always do), i can type that word in five clicks, as so, tap 4, 7, 3, 2 and 8 but some people would like to write it as gr8 (so annoying) so let's try and see how many clicks. that's 4,7,7,7,8,8,8,8. that's 8 clicks. now tell me what's faster?any comments on which kind you prefer to write and which kind you prefer to read.

that's your choice but we've already proven it above that they're not really easier and not faster of timesavers at all.

And it's takes so much longer to read. Deciphering code isn't easy.

I prefer correctly spelled stuff. English is having a hard enough time as it is, without people going into 1337, and the IM jargon. "How r u?" It makes me gag.
