buy or rent a home

hi everyone, we live in rented apartment albeit a luxury one, the rent we are paying is much more than what our mortgage cost would be if we were to purchase our own house. our friends and family members are all after us to buy a house . but we are a newly married couple and expecting to move out of the city where we live in about a year. so we feel its not worth the effort.moreover our apartment complex is really cool,any problem we have they fix instantly,in our own house we would have to make the effort ourselves. what do you feel,should we go in for our own house even though we might move in a couple of years or should we wait till we are properly settled?
