Are reservations necessary?

we use reservation systems in all the fields....but do we want reservations in our country.?..i think it spoils the chance of the talented...Share ur ideas abt reservations...

Reservations are necessary .hehehehehe. Yes reservations for marks reservations for talented students .reservations for students who devote time in studies . Reservations for students who want to study but don't have money. Reservation for students who deserve to be in universties not in garages and tea shops .

ok..how can we find those students..our government is not even providing good reservation..then how can our government find them..?

ya..money plays an vital role here..the government is unable to give the reservations properly that they have planned..wat is the problem here.? the rulers..?

Our government doesn't need to find them . These people are already standing out of every college admission office watching Housefull board, watching students with 40% percent but ready to give donations taking admissions and their 94-95 % is of no use.

Yes I believe they are necessary but at primary education level. They provide for better opportunities in initial stages of persons life. But continuing them throughout the life time of a person in all categories is a waste of resources.

in the begining means ...in their childhood?...how the can know they are benifited by the reservations....there s no chance to use reservation in tat stage...but u r correct..we can use it in only in the educational institutions ..but it should not be used in Govt. offices...

just im asking opinion abt reservation...it cant cause problems..we can solve any problem by just mutual sharing of ideas...without sharing ideas,how can we solve our problems....? ....

I am studying in a college where we have a 70% reservation for the rural population and i belong to the general category . I know how difficult it was for me to get into this college . The students who got a preference over me are well cant in any sense of the word can be said to be deserving it . Inspite of all this i feel reservation is necessary . Most of us think that Reservation is only for the people belonging to the lower classes or backward sections of the society . What i feel is that Reservation should be for the people who deserve it . The physically disabled , Women , Mentally challenged and economically backward classes . People need to realize the potential in certain sections of society and not to discriminate against them . Next reservation should not mean booking of seats in educational institutes . It should mean Financial backing and extra help . There is nothing wrong with Reservations . Its the implementation of reservations where we fail . It should be a dynamic process .

ur statements are correct...reservations should be given until the equilibrium s attained between the rich and the poor...but there r also some economically backward students in the general category..wat can we do for them...?
