Wouldn't the world be better if feelings did not exist at all?

A world without feelings.. That would be cold. That would be really cold... Nah, I don't think it would be a better place.. Too.. cold..

The world would be unexciting and quite drab if people did not have feelings. There would be no motivation to do anything or to interact with anyone. I don't know if I can think of anything more terrible than a world without feelings.

Well,(after a few minutes of thinking) still I am not certain on any particular opinon.... Well You are right, if the feelings didn't exist at all, world will feel better....or some thing....no...maybe...a bit....no feeling........ SO, OK? IF THERE WERE NO FEELING HOW CAN WORLD FEEL BETTER? FOR HUMANS, FEELINGS ARE AS IMPORTANT AS BREATHING! OR WITHOUT FEELING WORLD WOULDN'T EVEN EXISTS!

I'm not sure whether I think I should agree or not. This reminds me of the film Equilibrium where it was illegal to feel. I think if people lost feeling the whole reason for life would be disregarded. I think feeling would be a big part of our lives that we would miss. An average day would be to go to work and come home, sleep, and then go back to work. I think the world would slowly grind to a halt

I do not think the world will be better off without feelings. All of it will be mechanical and logical. Rendering it predictable, no excitement. That is your point right? No feelings. But it would mean lifeless as well. Without feelings there will be no life. Now if the world would not have people with feelings, what is the difference between earth and mars? What will be the difference between you and me? Or you will realize that you are no longer unique because we respond just as the same way as others. No feelings. Yes, a world without feelings will mean no war, no cruelty, no hunger, no poverty, no hurt, no evil. But it will mean no life as well. Think about that. :)
