yesterday, when i was coming from market, i boarded on a bus it was crowded. few ladies also boarded on the same stop, and after few minutes when the conductor came to me for tickets i found my bag was a bit open, i ws scared and i ws right those ladies had stolen my purse and they stepped dwon off the bus on the next stop...i was so much sad....i registered police complaint..but i dont think it would work.......
i thought a lot over this insidence...cos last month my son's bycycle was also stollen...why all this happening? because there is a big gap between those who have money and those who dont....so theft is the easiest way to achieve it.....and it will increase as the time passes........ and they will make our lives miserable.

Are those young ladies?
Usually I do not suspect ladies to be theives or pickpockets, but nowadays it's hard to say, uhh?
What we can do is really be more careful with our belongings, watch out the environment and watch out everyone else. Yeah, this makes our lives more miserable, it's like we go anywhere also need to be extra alert.
Hope that you didn't lose a lot of things....

to smille: i am sorry about what happened to you. but kaka135 is right. these days, we can't tell who are those that are nice and bad people around us. so, let's not keep our guards down.

poverty will not justify people's rude acts. it does not mean that because you are poor and have starving kids to take care of, it's okey for you to steal money or things from other people. i know lots of people who are poor and need to feed their kids and send them to school but they don't cheat nor become thieves. they work hard for the money and they are proud of it. thieves should be punished. they make our lives miserable.
and even if you already reported the incidence to the police, most of the time, it will onloy end up in their files and forgotten unless those who stole your purse get caught by someone else, then you can put charges on them.

well that's a let go situation, otherwise it is you who will end up miserable. just think that the person who stole it needed it more than you do and you're still lucky and blessed that it was not you who is in such a tight situation.

ohhh..u should be very careful about yourself and your own belongings. There are lots of smart chain snatchers, smart pick pocketers who look very decent and no one will get any doubt on them even after they do theft they will still stand at the same site because no one ever doubts them, anyway its very hard to believe whom and whom not...so its better we be careful ourselves when we go out.

It is a little bit late, but every 3 or 4 months empty your wallet. Put the key papers on a copier, copy both front and back. Then put this in a safe place, when it comes to reporting losses it will be easier to report and replace them.
In the meantime, get your self a purse that is more secure and always be aware of everybody around you.
It is sad and I don't think it is always the haves and have-nots but I think sometimes it is the thrill involved or just a dare.
It is sad either way.

this is the worst incident to happen including the one which can happen with anyone in restaurant. if this happens in the restaurant then it is very embarrasing. my shoes were stolen from my house few months back and i am going to purchase new pair of shoes.
thieves are the worst creatures of this world. they steal things as they dont' have or they sell it afterwards.
have a nice time and don't think too much on it.

Sorry to hear you got your purse stolen. I had my wallet stolen many years ago at a bar in NYC. I was 18 and pretty naive. I hung my purse on my chair. DUH? It's sad how some people resort to stealing from others to avoid working.
