I use my cell only...I no longer have a landline phone...i don't have a need for one...mostly due to convenience and portability...

They are good to have in case of an emergancey and if you need to get ahold of someone while your on break at work

I like my cell because I can keep in contact with people when im on the go and if there was ever an emergency I have my phone with me to call for help.

Because they can take them with them when they go somewhere and talk whenever they want. They are also very useful in an emergency.

I originally got my cell phone to be in constant contact with my Mother and her Doctors when she was ill. It became convient. Now I can not drive to or from work without calling my hubby or other family members. It does get to be a nuasense because sometimes I just want to be left alone. I do love the stored phone number feature. I couldn't tell you anyones numbers without looking them up in the stored phone directory. I know, how pathetic am I.
