Big brother saw one of the biggest racism row of recent times. Shilpa Shetty was the victim and earned global sympathy and won the event eventually. She even won crores of rupees. So do you think there was actually racism in the show, or was it a media creation??

It would be interesting to know how many complaints emanated from the Initial showing of the "Stock Cube Row"; bearing in mind the ONE Hour show is broadcast 24 hours after the event. I feel certain that the Producers, Storyliners etc. did not feel uncomfortable showing this "Snap-shot" of life in the house. The escalation of 'outrage', I feel followed the Tabloid Press and their variety of reactions, which then 'grew legs' and ran away from reason and sanity; which we the viewer could easily see for ourselves. There were three plain unthinking ignorant females giving another female a 'hard time' for the least reason. That is the nature of human beings who live in confined situations with a disparate background. Think of first day in a new school after family move; or first few days in barracks when newly enlisted in miltary etc etc.
