I do think it is unfair that celebs get to bypass others. It is nice that they adopt from counties that are improvished and everything but soemtimes i wonder if they do it so they will gain more fame for being such a humanitarian. They adopt kids from othrs countries just so they can say " hey i helped this or that country" I mean there are plenty of kids here in the USA who also need adopting. Not tosound all bad or anythign because yeah it is nice for them to adopt a child in general. I could never do it myself...going into aplace and seeing all these kids with such hope in their eys, wanting you to take them, to love them. And you can pick one and leave the rest...It would just kill me so much.

I think it seems unfair alright, but I am also very glad for the children concerned. Madonna's child was taken out of a hellhole orphanage where he wasn't getting enough to eat even. So if Madonna had to queue up for years that means that he probably would have had to hang around that orphanage for longer. I think that those countries where the children don't have enough to eat, they should liberalize their adoption laws to make it easier for adoptions to take place. But it seems that they don't as they have issues around their national pride. So children die of disease and neglect on a large scale while people wait on waiting lists for children to adopt...
So to answer you question I think it is unfair that some people get kids quicker than others that have to wait years but for the sake of the children I am glad that one or two are at least getting proper care.

It does appear that money can buy love and happiness.
It's just another slap in the face of reality I guess I have been trying to adopt for sometime now and come to the sick realization that if I were rich I could have a family, but because I am just the average working Joe that would give anything and everything to be a mother to a child in need just is not good enough.
