Does you cat slap you?

I don't know how many of you have experienced it. But I've been slapped several times by my cat. He does it if he gets irritated. When he was a kitty, my sister was holding him and i bent towards him just to touch. He immediately responded by slapping me.. ofcourse not with his claw(otherwise my face would be a graph sheet by now).. but with his paws.. strong enough. At that time he wasn't so used to us, so its understandable. But he continues this even now.. as if he has taken us for granted.. no fear at all.. without any hesitation he slaps us(me and my sister).
But one thing.. He is really unique!!!

Yup my cat does that. He used to do it with claws, but stopped after I started to cut them. 7 years on and he has not had them cut in years, but he does slap. especially when he is not getting his own way, or when he wants attention. I also have a 16 month old son, and sometimes I am so glad my cat only slaps with no claws (generally they are great friends, but they have their moments)

Our male will do this to me - just me when he gets annoyed. I really think that I am the "Mom Cat" because he treats me like the other cat, not likea human.
