Is it internet secure to small kids?

No, it is not. The internet is a major hunting ground for pedophiles and, even with parental controls, a parent should always supervise their child when the child is on the internet. Children are also often more computer savvy than their parents and you would be amazed at how some of them get into sites where they have no business being accessing. It is best to always have the computer in a location (like the family room) so you can always see what your child is doing.
