Al Gore is going all around the world telling us how we must change our civilization due to the threat of global warming. A Danish newspaper thought that if the world is too embark on the costliest political project ever, maybe it should rest on solid ground, aka. facts. So they thought who better to do the interview than Bjorn Lomborg, author of the book "The Skeptical Environmentalist," who has countered Mr. Gore's stance. The interview was scheduled for months in advance, but the day before Gore's agent said that Gore wanted an interview from a reporter and only wanted questions about his book and documentary. The conditions were accepted, but in the end Gore cancelled. What happened???

Well, I don't know about the interview and Al Gore canceling it but I have watched Al Gore's documentary. If you scrutinize Al Gore's documentary, you may find many claims that lack factual support but what we must also realize there is more or less a consensus among climate scientists that the world climate is changing unpredictably and that the change is largely due to accelerated pace of unnatural human activities.
What do you think about it?

I am not sure why he didn't attend the interview. Nevertheless, it is possible that he felt that polically it wasn't worth doing the interview. It probably wouldn't have added to his cause and if it is not going to add to his cause then why bother with it.
