I'd think because love is more important in their family than money. now i know you'll say that they can't afford them so why try but most family's make it work. you'd be surprised how little money people can survive with.

I agree with you 100% as i have said above to other posts i am not rich by no means we are really poor in my opion but we have 3 kids and may have one more in a few years. really it don't cost that much more for more kids as i don't cook to much any more for my hubby and my self becuase the kids eat it to and it don't just get waisted. the most that i have to say that has cost is the dipers and pull ups.

The reason is that , the rich get scared if they have more children then they will share there wealth , thats why they have 1 or 2 childs .or its due to womens who want to maintain their figure.

I think lacnies has elaborated the answer too well. I also feel that poor people due to lack of education are not aware of birth control methods. they still feel kids are god's gifts. n India another thing is yearning for a male hier to the family so trhey keep producing girl child till they have a boy. another thing is more kids mean more earning hands in the family so birth control is neglected.
