When my son was about 18 months old , he was able to understand my instructions like 'Please throw your daipers into the garbage bin'. He will happily trot off and when he's thrown away the diaper , I'll applaud and tell him he's a good boy. He'll have this look of pride on his face as though he's done something great. He'll also help me bring the clean clothes to my room after I've taken them down from the washing line when I ask him to do so.These are just some of the things that make me proud of him.

Ahh. Those were the day. Enjoy them now because they don't last forever. Each of my older kids was like that from the age of 1-2 1/2 or so. Now they are 6, 5 and 4 and throw a fit if I ask them to do anything for me and every day it is a fight to get them to pick up their rooms. I miss the days when they were proud just to go get a clean diapers from the bag for me.

Oh gosh this one is hard-- My daughter does so many things all the time to make me proud- I love the feeling of seeing something new or even old and my eyes well up with tears..
Watching her graduate Kindergarten -- Watching her hit her first softball and make it to base-- watching her swing really hard and striking out-- watching her catch a pop fly, watching her make a basket in basketball-- Watching her guard her girl great- watching her trip and fall down but smile and get right back up-- watching her laugh at herself-- watching her become more independent each day- watching her be so nice to younger kids--- hold their hands when crossing the street--
There are so many things that make me proud! Children are great-- She makes me smile alot every day!

I have different moments every day. Recently it was my oldest getting straight As on her report card. She is so proud of herself. I'm also proud that my youngest is taking her first steps. She will be 10 months old tomorrow and took several steps yesterday.

My oldest when she was around 2, she could work a vcr, play video games like a pro. She learned fast from her daddy. Those two would go back and forth playing with each other. She was also good with computers, she would pop her game in, load it up and go from there. My youngest isn't a gamer, bless her heart. She does a lot of things that makes me go wow, how she trys to be a big girl. My oldest made me proud when she hoped on her bike and just takes off without any practice. My youngest is also learning to ride a big girls bike. She's really good, just doesn't know her own strength for her little frame.
All kids are special. Maybe your's can teach my youngest to play video games. My oldest doesn't like playing with her, and I'm not much of a gamer.

I have four kids and it amazes me at how diffrent they are. My oldest is 10 now and I guess what did it for me is how after such a hard battle he is on the AB Honor roll at school. I know that doesn't sound like much but he has ADHD and had fluid on his ears so until he had surgery he couldn't hear very well. So I am so proud of him.
With my 6yr old he has made me so proud at how well he helps with his baby sister who is 9 months. He is so protective and so careful with her. He is just the best helper.
Now with my 4yr old little girl its the fact that she is so good at sharing everything. She never has a problem with sharing like the boys do. It just amazes me.
Now the baby, the first time she said mama. That was her first word. I almost cried.

It makes me proud when I see him (13 months) sit down with a book and carefully turn the pages and look at the pictures. He treasures his books, and I'm happy that he's so interested. I see other older kids at the library throw books and totally disrespect them, and there's my son, with his library card in hand (well - it's usually in his mouth!) and a big smile when we check out his books.

Awww how sweet! I love kids and have two daughters of my own.
here are some moments that made me proud
1. My oldest alicia, who is my step daughter- she told me when pregnant with her first child, when her own mother turned against her, that She loved me and to her,I was her real mom- because I gave her unconditional love.
2.The latest one is when my youngest got married- and she basically thanked me for loving her and giving her the chance to grow into her own person.
Now I have a grand daughter Hailey, and I am so proud when she learns new things! I love being a mom and grandmom
