Can a cat have a Stroke?

My cat was just sitting there the other day and started shaking and froze up. Then he fell to the floor. It reminded me of a Stroke. Is it possible for a cat to have a stroke?

yes cats can have strokes and even if it wasn't one, you need to get that cat to a vet as soon as possible..! Please, if you have any feelings for your cat, you will get medical attention for him right away!
