Does anyone know wich is the most expensive painting and by who and when it's made?

It depends if you are looking for the most valuable painting or for the one that fetched the highest price in an auction. The highest sold is No.5,1948 by by Jackson Pollock. It sold for $140 million. The most valuable painting on the other hand is the Mona Lisa. It has an insurance value of $670 million.

LOL there ya go. If you look at some of those expensive paintings, they look like someone emptied a bucket of paint on the canvas, so you wouldn't even need any talent ;)

Thanks for this peptalk. Now I know I can become a great one. And if people don't wanna buy a painting of me, I can always tell to myself that Van Gogh havn't sold 1 painting in his life.
