Question about Tubal ligation

i had a tubal done after i had my last child almost 8 yrs ago, because of the guy i was living with, he was very verbally abusive and i didn't think there was a way out and i didn't want to bring another child into that. but now im very happily married and would like at least one more. ive been told that there is only a 1% chance of every getting pregnant again. my question to all of you is this: Have you or anyone you know ever been able to get pregnant after this procedure?
