Suicide among children

one of my little friends told about a suicide attempt(not successful).
it was his classmate studying in sixth standard,how we can stop such things?
i think the strength of the love provided by parents can play a vital role.

Maybe my listening to the kids more and being there for them more. In the busy world,many tend to not spend as much as time with their kids or notice signs of depression, if they are despressed, talking to the child and perhaps some counseling will help!
