Which do you prefer to comunicate using your handphone?

1. voice call
2. send a short message
where i come from, many people prefer to send a short message (SMS) rather than to make a voice call. the reason is because the highest SMS rate is only about 4 cent/SMS and the most highest voice call rate is about 30 cent/30 second. well both the rate can go down if the caller/the sender can match the terms from the provider
how about you guys, which do you prefer and why?

yup i also prefer sms and nowadays i can save my daily sms cost with a program that i installed in my mobile. i only spend about Rp 5000 every week,eventhough i send minimum 20sms/day.

i prefer communication by voice call rather than sms.
the reason being that on sms, what gets reflected is just our thoughts and not our feelings.
Our feelings get reflected only through our voice and the way we talk.
So that why i like voice call more than sms.
I have both available to me at a cheap rate so money isnt important in that scenario.
