My Sunday routine norally goes something like this:
Get up,
Check email,
Get Cleaned & Dressed,
Go to Church,
Go home,
Check email again,
Afternoons are random: I may visit my parents, my daughter and grandchildren may come over, if my grandson spent the night we go to the park when it's nice, or I may just curl up with a good book or laze around watching old movies.
If I'm home I usually have the computer on.
If I have an assignment or am working on a project of my own I may work on those.

LOL I have a little trick with the movie thing. I have some videos that run 6 hours, stick one of those in and I don't have to go to the other room to get more movies or even get off the bed to switch them - for 6 hours at least. Now that is lazy!

Yes, I definitely have a routine on Sundays. Get up and get breakfast. That is my husbands and mine house cleaning day. We each have our chores and we crank up the stereo and get to it. Then after we are done we get cleaned up and the rest of day is our lazy day. I just love Sundays.

How very lucky you are to have a husband who will help with chores. I have to say - I LOVE YOUR AVATAR! My favorite candy :) except now that's all I'm going to think about the rest of the day.

I get up early and clean and get the dogs out, my hubby always makes breakfast for us on sunday mornings. We do not go to church anymore so we have the tv on some mornings or listen to KLOVE radio channel , sunday is usually just our day to be lazy around the house.

Oh that's too bad, I had a similar situation but I am blessed to have found a wonderful church and it's just a couple blocks from my house :) I didn't go to church for 4 weeks because I was sick in bed but our early service is on the radio so I could listen - it's not the same though as being able to visit with friends before and after service.

Oh those night shifts are hard, both on the person and their family. I worked nights for nearly 3 years and it took a toll on me mentally and physically, my family and my friends.

Lol I have to admit Sundays are boring I have never really liked them. To me I prefer the week and I don't know why. I guess when I was working before I became Sick I used to love the full weekend but now I am not keen on Sundays at all.

Sundays for me are the same as other days. Get up tend to the animals, get coffee or get dressed, Wash my face and brush my teeth then get dressed or make coffee, dial up and sit at the computer for a 4 hour session getting up to tend to anything as it comes along. I should do housework in the morning while it's cool but I can't stay off the puter....lol. (I make my bed.) Then I can use the excuse that it's too hot to do chores.
I work as the bowser operator when my boss is busy doing other jobs. The bowser is across the road so I need to go serve fuel sometimes. I leave the house tidy before I retire so things are neat. We're in the throes of a dreadful drought so I need to water my plants as required and make sure the animals are cool and have water. During the week I might watch a bit of daytime TV or do a rubbish run to the tip or go collect my mail. Shopping is a 40 minute drive one way to the store and over an hour one way to where there are more shops. I can never manage to do everything I want to do. I have no family close by and not many friends who drop in which suits me. If petrol weren't so dear I might go for more drives but that's ok. I look out my window where I'm sitting here at the lagoon across the road a couple of hundred metres away and I'm at peace. Church is at 7:30 every other Sunday and I haven't been willing to front up there yet. Only a handful of people attend (the church is 3 doors away from my home and I see the cars parked)and I'm loathe to draw attention to myself.

Wow a drought? I have nearly the opposite here, 9 degrees without counting the wind chill factor. It's coooold! We do have snow and fresh at that so it's at least pretty. As long as I can stay in the house.

Our routine sounds very similar. I too do prayers but afraid I am not as consistant as I should be.

My favourite routine for Sunday is that I wake up late as it is a holiday.I doesn't like anybody to disturb me on a sunday morning for that reason I will switch off my mobile on saturday night itself so that nobody can disturb me on a sunday morning. I doesn't plan my sunday. Most precisely I enjoy my sunday and in evenings I will play my favourite game cricket.

My routine goes like this. Get up late, have break fast, do laundry then browse internet for some time (Of course it includes lot of time on My Lot), then watch TV for a short while. Next it is Lunch time, then some movie. Check mail and see any issues that need immediate attention. Remaining time is again Internet and TV till dinner. That's pretty much it.

My Sunday routine is much the same. Get up, get cleaned, dressed, feed the animals and get the family up and ready as well. Go to church, visit with friends, go home, get changed, eat lunch, check email, relax and take it easy either reading a good book or chatting online, writing to friends, writing poetry, or stories, or watching a good movie. If I'm home the computer is usually on, but it's sometimes hard to get on if my children have assignments or things to do on the computer as well. Still I always manage to find some time to do things online.
