Would you put your child to a boarding school?

For my part, I will not admit my daughter to a boarding school. However, there are instances when feelings cannot be the sole reason for a decision. If your friend believes that the current situation they are in is very disadvantageous in her daughter's education, I'll understand for her considering the boarding school thing. She must talk about this with her husband and if their decision will be a yes for the boarding school, they must explain their action to the child before executing it. If the daughter gives a vehement no, they have to shelve the plan and consider it for the next, next year when the idea is acceptable to the child.

I wouldn't be able to send my children to boarding school put it isn't because I don't agree with it , it's just that I couldn't bear to be seperated from my children for the period of time that they would have to be gone . If she thinks this is what is best for her and her family there is nothing wrong with that at all .

Boarding schools are depressing places sometimes, and it could alter the relationship your friend and her daughter may have, on the other hand if you have a difficult child and feel the need to be rid of the child for a whole year nearly then get the bags packed. In my opinion though it's up to the parent, but I would not have my child staying away from me when they are young for any amount of time.

i don't think i am gonna put my child to boarding school... i have spend 5 years of my life there as a child and i don't want my child to suffer there any more... i know hows it feel to live without your family.

no i dont think so .ya its ok when parents cant look after their child or they dont have time at all. but if they have time then they should keep their child with them. actually in the boarding schools children be independent but there are chances of misguidance .

I would want my kids to have the best education they can get but I would never want to send them away, I would miss them too much. They do go to a private school where they still recieve a great education but I still get to see them everyday.
