Macaroni & cheese.

Does anyone else think they could live off macaroni & cheese? I pretty much already do. I eat it four or five times a week. I love Kraft, and it has to be in shapes. The regular macaroni doesn't taste as good.

I think the only way that I would be able to live off of macaroni & cheese would be if.. It was mixed with something else. I'd have to add something to the macaroni & cheese each day because I can't just have normal mac & cheese all the time. I think the flavor would begin to get quite boring & then I would have to add things to it to keep it interesting.. I would have to add things such as cut up wieners, or add some hamburger to this type of dish.. To keep it from tasting the same each day. I already personally do like to put cup of wieners in my macaroni & cheese. Maybe getting bored with the macaroni & cheese would force me to be a little more creative on how I prepare it. I'd like to see what other interesting things I could add to mac & cheese so I don't limit myself to just two options. I have a few idea's already.. Some of those idea's are as follows: - Add tuna to the macaroni & cheese to make some-what of a lazy tuna casserole. - You could add some bacon & then a little bit of shredded cheese for some extra flavor. - I could cube up some ham & then pan fry it & then add it to the macaroni & cheese. - I could also add two or three different types of cheese to make it thicker, but also creamier. - Another idea I have is I could cut up some broccoli florets & then mix it right in to the macaroni & cheese. And then add some cheese whiz to the mixture to make it extra creamy.. - Dice up some smokies in to small pieces & stir them in to the macaroni & cheese. Then add some cheese whiz or regular cheese & sprinkle it over top. In conclusion.. I believe that what I had stated above.. Would be the only way I find that I could live off of macaroni & cheese.. But even then I think I would want something different then just noodles all the time.. But also I believe sooner or later I would run out of idea's on things to put with the macaroni & cheese.. Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

I love mac n cheese, but you can't live on it. It's just carbs, and processed phony cheese. You aren't getting enough protein, vitamins or nutrients if you eat too much of this. I love it too, but I try to only eat it once every 2 or 3 weeks, because the nutritional value is so low.

I ate so much Kraft dinner growing up that I can`t stand it now. When I do cook it I have to add somthing to it. I like it with broccoli , or cream of mushroom soup ,with lots of extra cheese.

The macaroni & cheese itself is enough to fill me. But maybe I will try adding something else to it one of these days.

Kraft!@!# It's hard to get Kraft products where I live but I remember eating those. They're the best macaroni and cheese ever. I love it with their bacon bits too and I never fail to add extra cheese. I like it topped with smoked cheddar!

Wow, when I was younger I had my mom make that for me every single day, sometimes twice a day. It was my favorite food in the whole world. Now I dont really like it anymore, I haven't eaten it in forver...maybe because I ate it so much then I kind of got sick of it? lol

as italian i can give a good advice: try to cook maccaroni at a good point (not too much) then use only some extra-virgin olive oil ( i know is quite expensive but really excellent) and then put on some grated parmigiano cheese ( the real one): it's a fantastic smelling and taste

I guess you could because you are getting calcium from the milk and butter you add to it and carbs from the macaroni. Have you ever tried adding things to it like broccoli or chicken? I make the fettucini alfredo stuff that comes in the box or pouch and add chicken to it. A quick meal that everyone loves ... and it is somewhat good for them.

My daughter really does live off boxed macaroni and cheese. It's a daily struggle for me to get her to eat any vegetables, fruit or meat. It drives me crazy because it's so unhealthy. I've even resorted to putting cheese sauce on brocolli, just so that she will eat it. Her other favorite food is ramen. I cook balanced meals, I just don't understand how she got this way.

Beware, she may never grow out of it. I'm eighteen-years-old, and there's still only about five or six "real" foods I eat. Haha.

Kraft Macaroni and Cheese is the preferred starch of my kids who are three growing boys. They love it and its so easy and quick to prepare when I'm worn down at the end of the day. I lived off of it in college and now I guess I'm passing on the tradition.

my favourite mac and cheese has tomato in the sauce, and tastes so good. I miss it, I want to eat it again! Thankyou for this topic, mac'n'cheese is now going on my menu for next week!
