Do you think you could sleep in a coffin?

My friends and family threw a birthday party for me last night. Since I am now 50 years old, the theme of the party was making fun of old age. There was the usual black balloons and a plethora of walkers, canes, and such. Interestingly there was a black cardboard coffin with a skeleton dressed as a nurse. I began thinking about that today (as I recover from the party!), do you think you could sleep in a coffin? Why or why not?!

That must have been one interesting party. Sure hope you had a good time.
I don't think that I could sleep in a coffin, as it would give me the willies. Sorry, it would just be very weird.

Yes, the party was a blast and very interesting! I'm like you Margieanne, I couldn't sleep in a coffin either...just too weird for me. I am also claustrophobic so it just wouldn't work!

No, I don't think so. I can't myself sleeping in a coffin no matter how and what it is made of. Just thinking of the situation makes my hair rise. I'm not brave enough to do that even if others can do it.

No I don't think I could sleep in a coffin. Maybe a really big one so I could move around and roll over. And of course I would need a fan because the air would be too still. I can't stand it to be warm when I'm sleeping. I need the air to be cold and a nice warm blanket. I think I'll pass on the coffin...thanks anyway.
And Happy Belated Birthday, and may you have many more;)

Happy Birthday and best wishes!
My only problem with sleeping in a coffin would be not having enough room. I like my elbow space and I have to be able to toss and turn.
That's why I am up now two people and one dog in my bed, doesn't leave room to roll around.:)

HAHAHA!!! Yeah, if I were to do it,(which I know I can't due to claustrophobia) there would have to be room for the cat and my husband!

~~~Happy Birthday~~~
I don't think I could, eww. It gives me the heeby-jeebies just thinking about it. It's too little of a space for me! I would probably have an anxiety attack 2 minutes after being put in it. It's not something I think I'd be willing to do, lol.
Congratulations on reaching the big 50! It sounds like you had a great birthday bash. As for your question, I don't think I could sleep in a coffin. First of all I don't think it would be very comfortable, secondly I have a hugely overactive imagination and I think the fact that I was sleeping in something that someone someday would be buried in would give me nightmares, and thirdly I get quite claustrophobic so there's no way I could sleep in it with the lid on, it would make me panic. So nope, there's no way I could sleep in a coffin.
Maybe, depends on the situation. Coffins can be a bit scary for me.
I don't think I can. Not because coffins scare me. It's just that I'm a bit scared of close spaces. If my blanket or pillow covers my space accidentally while sleeping, I go into panic. I feel suffocated. So unless the coffin is open, I don't think I can sleep in it.
I could definitely sleep in a coffin as long as I was sure that I had enough air to breathe. I become very panicky if I feel like my air supply is gone. Other than that, though, I can sleep almost anywhere, so I don't think that the fact that it was a coffin would make it especially hard for me to sleep. Actually, it would probably have to at least tip back if not be laying down, too, because I cannot sleep standing up.
