Here's the deal. I want to do something for my daughter that is Very Very special. I want to do something for her that she will remember forever. This is why. She is in Pre-k at a public school. In her class there is a boy who has ceribal palsy. Unlike the other children, my daughter has seemed to attach herself to him. She plays with him at recess, she helps him with his work, gets books and markers for him. He is in a small cart like chair and can not always reach things on the table, so my daughter is constantly caring after him. Her teachers have spoken to me, my husband and his mother when we go to pick her up. They just go on and on about how the other kids in the class ignore him and act like he is not there. And then there is my daughter who spends every minute she is there right by his side. I know that I could do a lot of things. Take her shopping, give her a day at the dress up store or buy her a new toy, but I want to do something that will radiate how Proud me and her dad are. I want her to know how great her friendship with this little boy is. If any of you have any ideas that stand out and well don't cost an arm and a leg, please feel free to share them!!Thank You all in advance!

That's really great for your daughter. She's going to grow up to be a fine young women. Perhaps take her, as well as the little boy and his parents, out for a nice dinner? Or ice cream?

boogasmom is my daughter and that is my granddaughter (isn't she beautiful? :-) ) I think my granddaughter will grow up with the kind, wonderful heart her Mom has. We've been trying to come up with something to show her how special it is that she treats this little boy like she does. I'm not sure that she truly understands WHY everyone is so proud of her. How do you make a 4 year old understand that she's kinder than most adults?
