killer tornadoes in fla..

2 nights ago we had tornadoes hit central florida and there was major damage and lives lost.just want to know if there is anyone else going thru this here in florida or have lost a loved one...and if you care to donate you can contact redcross of central fla

Thanks for the information. I'm down in the Ft Lauderdale area and planning to retire up near where the tornadoes hit (either late this year or sometime next year). Just watching the news over the past 2 days has really upset me. You don't get as much warning with tornadoes as you do with a hurricane, but that will not deter me from moving up to that area when we retire. I've lived in Florida my whole life, from Miami up to Panama City, and I'd hate to think of leaving MY state for any reason.

im glad you will not let this deter you since all areas of the world have different types of disasters from earthquakes,avalanches,tsunamis,floods etc which we cannot hide from just because we choose not to live in a certain spot.there will always be something.hurricanes and tornadoes are just a couple i choose to live with because i love the state of florida.you take every precaution you can and hope for the best.
