i have a question to tall couples that have kids out there.. would you go out with your husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend.. and leave your kids home unattended? do you trust your kids enough to leave them home unattended when u go out on a date? or just to go out..?

my kids are still too little (5 and 2), but my sister has 5 kids from aged 20, 15, 16, 18, and 8. They will go out sometimes (not often) and leave the kids home, but the youngest is 8 and she will always have a brother or sister home with her. They trust their kids and so far nothing has gone wrong.
I left my kids with one of my niece's a while back...my daughter was only about 9 months old at the time adn my son was 3. I went to play Bingo with my mom and sister and left them with my 14 yr old neice for about 2 hours. I was a nervous wreck. LOL

hi there, well my child isn't old enough to be left in a room on her own, so no, but if they were older, i wouldn't even leave them alone while i went to see a neighbour next door, never mind go out on a date or just to go out somewhere, i couldn't ever do that, id be worrying too much! if they were about 17 or 18 then yes because they can look after themselves but not while there younger, nope! :O)
