bird flu

is the food we`re getting safe to eat,with foot and mouth,mad cow desiese(spelling),bird flu.now there an out break at bernard mathews farm,more than 2.600 turkeys have died from the virus and a cull is underway for the remander 159,000 birds on the site.so is our food safe to eat

Personally, I have no problems...I'm a vegetarian.I should think its pretty simple. Stop eating chicken and turkey and stuff.As long as the HN51 virus does not mutate so that it can easily be spread through the air of through person-to-person contact, it is extremely unlikely to go pandemic. There is no solid evidence right now that it is spread from person to person.
