Vandread is a story about a separation of race between male and female specie. They were separated in far far far future when earth was destroyed due to war. Male and female specie lived in different territories, some are wanderer using ships and shuttle. Others are space pirates and the other protects other race. In order to create a new being, they combine their genes and let it grow in a tube (the so called test tube baby). They pair their genes with someone who have an advanced or a remarkable person. In this series, men are scared of women because men thought that women will eat their livers. As the story unfolds, 3 men were lost and found themselves in a ship full of women. As they lived with the female specie they fought battles with them and have established a mutual relationship with them. Do you like or watched this anime Vandread?

Yup, I've watched it before. I really liked the part of how the Hibiki/Dita relationship eventually developed, also since those contained the funniest scenes of the anime. Though I kinda wondered what if men and women lived separate lives in different worlds in real life. Would it really turn out just like what happened in Vandread?

There's a possibility. Well, if there will be some issuis or rumors that women actually eat the liver of male species that would be a disaster.

I just remembered a particular movie (I forgot what the title is) in which it was set in the near future, where the male species of humanity was completely extinct. Kinda makes me think what would happen if I was the last man on earth. Still hope it turns out just like Vandread though.

Thats rights! The anime is really cool, you will be touched on how they will handle their issues. It shows much love, respect, passion and most of all comradery. Helping and protecting others is the best part of this anime series. It can help or you might get something on how to treat or talk to naive and stubborn people. It will make you laugh as well. If you really want a cool anime, you try Full Metal Panic as well, this is much cooler than Vandread.

Yeah, I've watched as well as liked the series. I wouldn't mind getting the chance to read the manga though
