Any Stay At Home Moms?

Does your husband think staying at home and raising children is easy? Mine says it must be nice to sit on the couch all day and watch tv and eat bon bons (that word was never in his vocabulary until I become a SAHM). Like I have time to watch tv when I'm chasing a 15 month old around! Just wondered if anyone else had a similar experience.

I think that you should buy him some bon bons and take off for a weeekend for some away time for yourself. Make sure you contact all family and friends and order them NOT to help your husband while you're away. Give him a little taste of what you put up with day in and day out :) Good Luck

He used to say that to me when I stopped working to raise the children. Until, he had to watch the children by himself....he didn't say any of the such any longer.

My dh is jealous cause he has to go out to work, but I doubt he would ever say anything like that to me.

My husband told me once that I had it easy. I told him that is fine If you think it so easy I am going to leave now and i will not be back till after bed time. And I left after about two hours he was calling me saying please come home I am going nuts. When I got home the kids needed there daipers change There were toys every where. He learned that day it was not easy taken care of the kids by myself.

When my hubby and first discussed me staying home to take care of the kids it was a thought that I would be sitting arround doing nothing. When he lost his job I took on a paart time job as a cashier to bring in a few extra bucks along with his unemployment and just for the few hours he was home with our 3 girls he told me that he appreciated me more for what I do. That made me feel really good. Tell him that 1 day for a few hours you age going to go to a friends house for a break and see how well he handles playing Mr. Mom for a bit he will see it is not as easy as he thinks.

Well my husband JOKES about it and how it must be nice to sit around all day and wake up when I want. BUT in reality he knows its hard work. He had to deal with them for a week after a surgery I had and he was going nuts and he had help from both my mom and his mom thru out the day. SO he knows its hard work!!
