Have You Ever Had Your Car Stolen? I Did Today

Back in June last year I have just replaced the Engine in our Honda 3000.00 2 days later our car was GONE nowhere in sight! We called the police and I called them everyday to see if there was any luck, The lady on the other end said they would contact me if they had found it, but had asked me to wait a min. She came back on and told us that they did find our car parked behind a church. Mike and I had of course went down to where our car was and had to pay 200.00 to get it out =( Once we got our car back it had some damage and they did steel what was in it, but we got the car back =) Since then we have sold the Honda and Bougth a Conversion van, I am hoping because of the size they wont think twice =)

Once coming from home after an all nighter out with my friends, my car was parked behind a gas station off of I30 From up on the freeway we could see the station, my car was gone. Yep, someone smashed the drivers side window and broke the ignition. Well it was a piece anyway, an old 1995 pontiac sunbird, the transmission was going out and it didn't have reverse. Hahahah I had to push it with my foot out of a parking space, so just think this thief is stealing this piece, has to push it out of the parking space, then gets into a police chase through Irving going 80 through residential areas, he ran up on a curb busted out both front tires and they caught him. Yes I got it back. It ran, needed some used tires, had to have a pair of pliers to pull the ignition on. hahha, then that broke off and could not start it again. Hahahahahah

I'm happy it never happened to me! And I hope It never happens! I think I will be mad mad mad as never!

That's awful! Getting your property stolen I mean. Anything, from cars to pens. I'm glad you got your car back though. I have never had my car stolen before; maybe because thieves do not want my car anyway. It's beat up; kinda like me. But just a few days ago, from the second floor window of my friend's office, we saw a few people trying to break into her colleague's car in broad daylight. The car was parked at the back of the building where it's hidden away from the main roads. What happened was they drove a car and parked it right behind my friend's car and 2 guys got out of the car and started looking inside the car. Fortunately, we were standing around looking out the window then and spotted them. We told everyone and they have 3 office-boys (messengers) and the three of them went to confront the 2 strangers. What they told us later was - they asked them what were they doing and they answered "nice car! can't we just look at your car?" and the boys said no, told them to leave. We also have their car plates and have reported this event to the police hoping for better security around that area.

Sorry to hear this, glad you got it back again. No I have been lucky and never had my car stolen. I did go to London once and forgot where I had parked it, so that took me a few hours to find! lol

This has never happened to me personalt but it did happen to my younger sister. Some chick got into a fight with her and some friends brought her up to come and see me as i was working night shift at the time. My sister was holding her keys when the fight started and she dropped them. Well another gy and the girl that had attacked my sister stole her car and were on a High Speed chase with . Unfortunately it was in terrible shape! I am so glad to hear that you got it back and thank god about those cables!

its never happened to me (not bragging knock on wood lol) but im sorry to hear that its awful now days people cant keep their hands off of other peoples property. you know the old say "Everything Happens For A Reason" maybe thats why you didn't tighten that battery all the way. im glad things turned out the way they did and you got it back.

OMG that totally sucks so hard. thousands of dollers just gone for that sports car. i really feel for ya man i really do. im glad to hear you got this car back though...do u live in the city?
