one to start with. Wherever you go, you will always find chinese people and I think it will be good if I can speak at least one dialect. What is the most widely used chinese dialect and what is the best way to learn it? any suggestion? Do you like to learn chinese as well?

I was recently in an Intercultural Communications class and we spoke often and in depth of China. Overwhelmingly, the most spoken dialect is Mandarin, and that is also the main dialect you will find in other countries that also speak Chinese.

Thank you. I actually have started learning Mandarin years ago but stopped for some reasons, now I definitely would go to it again.
