Was God a male or Female and why?

In my vision God was a woman. A long haired dark skinned woman. I know this pushes a bunch of buttons my come on...think...God could be a man, could be midget, cvould be an animale.. i know they say "he " created "adam" in his own image, men were in charge then too you have to think and women were looked down on, so of course they would say "he" was a man, im just saying what ever"he " is no one really know do they?

i think they say HE because in English language people just assume an unknown person as he. I think god is an it. No real form..more like a thought..an idea...like pride...beauty...dreams...an untangible.

Okay my answer to this one will get me in trouble with my mother for sure LOL
I don't see God as being man or woman just by His very nature He transends all that we are. I know the Bible says that God made Adam in His on image, but did it mean a physical image or an emotional, mental and psychological image. I'm going with the later. I may be wrong, but I'll know when I get to Heaven.
