What age should my son sleep in his OWN bed?????

You should have started him in hiwn bed pretty much from the beginning, like around 6 months. i can understand having him in there starting out bcause of being small and SIDS scares and all but he is a big boy now and he needs to learn that big boys sleep in their own rooms. and you need to make your own bed YOUR area. Decorae it with stuff that you d not want him touching and you will be more apt to putting him in own room. also maybe let him pick out some new sheets or things to decorate ( even more) his own room and he will want to stay in there

I am plannig to let my son sleep in his room by 6-7 months.. i will check on him at night.. but other wise i would like him to be independent

They really is no set time when your son should sleep in his own bed. But I will say..the longer you hold off in having him sleep in his own bed. The harder it will be for the transition to take place. When you do decide to have him sleep in his own bed.

i think once he turns 3 u should start putting him in his own bed an if u feel uncomfortable that hes not next 2 u u should maybe put his bed next 2 yours an see if that helps

I will tell you that my oldest daughter was a pain to get to sleep in her own bed. She was almost 8 and we had to put several beds together so that she and the 2 dogs could sleep with us LOL not little dogs either. I did learn from that mistake with my next 2 and neither of them slept in my bed. Every once in a while now my kids will come in and climb in bed with me which is okay.
