Do you send more e-cards than real paper cards?

I used to buy so many paper cards and send them all the time, but now they are so expensive! Some of the Hallmark cards are $3 and $4 for a pretty card.
I have been sending e-cards for years now - and those cards have gotten so advanced they are so cool to send. I really like the animated/musical ones -- you can't find that in a paper card. I have even signed up with some of the e-card sites as a member to be able to send some wonderful cards on-line.
Do you send e-cards? Do you think they are a great way to keep in touch? Do your friends/family enjoy getting them?

I do send ecards if that certain someone uses the internet often. If not I will purchase a card from the .49-2.49 cards at walmart. and write a nice note in there and a small gift too. To me either is ok, its always the thought that counts.

I can't remember the last time I sent a paper card. I think now a days, I always send e-cards to my friends & relatives.
Aside from the fact that it is free, it's even fster to send that sending a paper card via snail mail. Also, i think it's more fun to send & receive beacuse it's more artistic with it's music & animation effects.
I think it's really a great way to keep in touch.

I send out more real cards than email ones. I have always felt that email cards are not as personal as ones that you buy.

Personally I send more e-cards then paper ones. By sending e-card people can save money and the environment at the same time. Most of the time the e-cards are better anyway because they can be personalized better and they even have some that have wonderful music. I say send e-card. They are much cheaper and in many ways better overall.

Hi Shady.
Reading this post made me think. Indeed, only last year I have sent more e-cards that real paper card. I think its because most of my old friends are already in other countries working. Plus, cards nowadays are really getting expensive as well as the cost of sending them via postal mail.

Yeah I use them when I need to send a card. They are cheaper, faster and funner then a real card. Also if they want the person can sometimes print hem out and keep them. I have made cards online and printed them out too. Some ocasions need a real caard rather then an e-card.

I can't hardly afford to send cards anymore. Postage is outrageous now, not to mention that the nicer cards are several bucks each. I will get them for major holidays (Christmas, Mothers/Fathers Day and birthdays) but that's about it. I used to send them all of the time. Just can't swing the money anymore.

It is now the age of computer technology, and e-cards is just one of the innovations that I really liked. I send more e-cards than real paper cards because I found them more chic (especially the ones that move), more brilliantly made, more cost-effective, and not time-consuming. My friends actually told me that they liked receiving e-cards better, and so do I!

I dont like sending cards to a nother person. The love to any person can be shown through their word. So, there is no need of cards that is developed by any other person in the world

I have sent e-cards in the past to some of my family and friends but prefer to get a real card . Not everyone checks there mail all the time and some people just don't really care to get them . I find they are cute for the children though .
