Would you put your parents in the nursing home?

I would not put my mother in there because she has showed me my 15 years of living worth while. She has been there for me ever sense I was born and has taken care of me sense then. The only parent I would put in there is my father. He hasn't been there for me at all.

I would put my mother in a nursing home only if I was incapable of taking care of her. I hate to think of that day ever arriving because my mom has always been there for me and she does everything she can to make my life easier, even if it's just to offer an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. Unfortunately for some, there does come a time when we have to put our parents in a nursing home. A friend of mine had to put her mother in law in one because she was suffering from Alzheimers (sorry not sure of the spelling). And it was just to hard for them to take care of her. I hope this never happens to me, because it would be heartbreaking to have to do it. But I always have my mom's best interests at heart and will do whatever is necessary to ensure she is in safe hands.
