Drug addicted pregnancies / myLot

I think mothers who are on drugs should be procecuted as a attempted murder...they always ask at your first doctors appointment if you are on illicit drugs...if they say no and later on it shows up in may urine samples taken...then they had there chance to come clean, they should be put in prisona nd child taken away bc they have no business being a parent, when they know the hard drugs can kill a baby and most likely cause mental issues later like drug addicted babies...so what do you think out there am i right or wrong?

I don't think we should be so quick to judge like you're wanting... Being warmer and actually trying to help them get rid of their horrible addiction would be much better than scolding them and throwing them in jail... Throwing them in jail does not solve their problem as the addiction will not be overcome, it would merely be put off until they're out of jail. If we offer to help them, we could place them in maternity homes for those that are addicted, where they can eat properly, get help with their withdrawals, and be seen through their pregnancy. Obviously, that would be in a perfect world. Until we live in a perfect world, this is just a matter of survival of the fittest.
