I have not changed my avatar and I probably never will. Its my favorite picture of me and my dog who is now deceased. This way I can forever hold him in my arms. But anyway, I don't really like it when people change their avatar because I get used to seeing the same ones and I look for familar ones when I am looking for discussions to answer. But some people like to change once in awhile and that is ok with me. If they are on my friends list then I will find them eventually.

There are lots of people who change their avatar all the time , I love mine so I wont be changing it , I find it easier to find my friends via their avatar though xx

still never changin my avatar, this is my first avatar, and mybe my only avatar, usually at other forum I never using any avatar, in mylot here I use avatar because I wrong uploading picture, I think I'm uploading for topic. Since its allready become my avatar than let it that way.

I don't think it will have an effect technically. It may determine who you attract to your discussions, though. I haven't changed mine, I like the personal pictures of people the best.
