Oscar being so important because of it's unbiased nature . But at times it has been seen that sometimes it's quite unfair. It usually gives less importance to already famed actors like Tom Cruise (Jerry Maguire), Leonardo Di Caprio (What's Eating Gilbert Grape , Titanic), Johnny Depp ( Pirates Of Carribean) despite giving their best and making their role justified. Is Oscar really UNBIASED?

I think Oscar has been pretty much fair to the movies made in Hollywood but not so sure bout the movies made outside Hollywood...Maybe i might be wrong but after seeing some deserving movies left behind i don't have much faith in Oscars now

I don't think the Oscars have ever been unbiased, they always seem to reward mainly established actors and directors and are slow to recognize upstarts and trendsetters. Also some of the best artists have never won awards... like Martin Scorcese (though it's rumored he may win this year).

besides giving importance to actors who are already in fame, when has the oscars ever looked outside hollywoord..maybe a couple of awards to name a foreign creation..but thats all..also..some best actors are never rewarded..basically i dont think it has any morality!
