Which would you rather watch?

Would you rather watch American Idol even though they are so blatantly rude to people or would you rather watch Nashville Star--that is if you like country--because they are so much nicer to the contestants? I like Nashville Star because I love country, but it's also much nicer to watch because the judges are rude and crude. There's my 2 cents. Let me hear yours.

I prefer Idol. And sometimes I feel like the only person in America who doesn't think the judges are too mean. They're nicer than most editors I deal with on a daily basis. When you're in that sort of profession, where just good doesn't cut it, you have to be brutal.

I think the judges are mean and make comments about the poor people who really think they can sing just for the ratings. I really think alot of people watch Idol for the first part, which includes all of the horrible sounding people, because they think it's funny to see those people being humiliated. I feel so embarrased for those people.

I used to watch American idol, i do not like country so much so i dont watch nashville star, but i am canadian, and we have canadian idol where the judges are not so harsh! i mean they have the one guy like simon who is nearly always negative, but he's not name calling and being a total*ss.:)
