LOST! and The Office. LOST is a very smart show that always leaves you wanting to watch the next episode. It airs on Wednesday nights at 8pm. The Office is also a smart show - a comedy. On NBC on Thursday nights at 8pm.

The Office is hands down the best show on TV. For anybody who works in an office, this show rings so true. There is no laugh track, no studio audience and the humour is real! It doesnt give you the 5-10 default situations that every other sit-com gives you.
The problem I have with Lost is that it really seems to be playing things by ear. Their ideas seem to be improvised on the fly, no clear vision. Being confusing for its own sake is garbage.

I think the best show to ever hit airwaves was Six Feet Under. But it's gone now. :(
